Another day of getting our steps in – yay! Off to a late start today what with futzing
about after sleeping in.
Decided to go check out the El Paseo Shopping District in Palm
Desert. This street is known as the “Rodeo
Drive of the desert.” Beautifull!. Lots of flowers, grass, street art, high end
shops and restaurants.

We spotted an interesting building on our way to downtown
Palm Springs yesterday so decided to try to find it and see what it was. By the time we found it we were almost in
Palm Springs and when we made the turn off the highway to go up the hill we
were faced with multiple No Trespassing signs and signs saying there were
cameras and guards up ahead. So much for that plan! Since we were so close, we decided to go back
to the downtown and explore more of the area.
Friends suggested we try going to Jackalope Ranch so we
decided to stop by on our way home. What
a fabulous spot and only 4 miles from
the resort.
